Congratulations! A fantastic effort from all after a long hard season, winning 19 games in succession, achieving promotion and a superb win in the East District Cup Final last night against Rhiwbina. Let's all look forward to the club presentation dinner on 1 June where we can celebrate our success, and then enjoy the well earned summer break before launching ourselves upon the next season!
Congratulations to the players, coaches and management on the successes of the last week. It has been the culmination of a great deal of hard work by everyone. Well done, and thank you for your commitment.

To all involved with the old illtydian 1 st team squad this season may I offer a personal thank you for making this year something special? To be involved with such a talented bunch of players who as well as skill can dig deep into their resolve and find high performance and commitment levels despite feeling the physical strain of what as felt a long hard season.
To the coaches Matthew Lloyd and Matthew back, your knowledge and experience has been much appreciated, your desire to win has rubbed off on us all.
To my good mate John Manders……..all the plotting and discussions paid off – the foundations have been laid.
To the linesman, Kevin McDonald – thanks for your love and support as I try to replace the irreplaceable.

Congratulations to the Illts 1st on the semi final win over Rumney. An excellent result and a good hard game to watch. Good luck in the final v Rhiwbina RFC. Nice to see such a big crowd of illts supporters.
