Whilst checking out the opposition's website prior to the Monmouth v Illts matches, Illtyd spotted an interactive yes/no poll to vote for what Monmouth members thought their chances were of thrashing the Illtydians. The result stood at about 80%-20% in favour of a Monmouth win. Illtyd MAY have mentioned this interesting fact in passing to one or two of the Illtydian players.

When checking the site on Saturday before the match, Illtyd was intrigued to notice that there had obviously been a massive loss of confidence on the part of the Monmouth players during the week, with the final poll result standing at a whopping 62%-39% in favour of the Illts. Fancy that!
